God has set before us the greatest opportunity this side of heaven to serve His church. We have been given His commission and His tools to do His commission. Being a Christian is not just going to church. It’s doing God’s will in this present world. You can start by just being a light where you are. ”How?” you may be asking yourself. It starts by having the right attitude (a loving attitude), being kind, being gentle, caring about the needs and problems of others, and being willing to help with those problems. You didn’t find Jesus in palaces. He was found where people with problems were, and He solved those problems. Maybe you don’t have all the answers, but you can help. And by your helping the light of love is shining through you. So let your light of love shine in this dark world.
